Stephanie - just read your most recent comments on my blog. *Thank you* for posting those. I sometimes forget that, despite my family's idiosyncrasies, there are plenty of people who have much harder situations. And ultimately, while my family is not going to be happy about this, compared with your family they will be an absolute walk in the park. *Thank you* for the perspective, as well as the example (if you can do it under those circumstances, I can certainly do it under mine!).
Oh you're quite welcome! Even if you won't be physically restrained, lol, it's always difficult to face family and tell them about such a big and personal decision, especially when you know they won't be thrilled about it.
Oh, and Berlioz is doing great! He didn't make hubby very happy because he munched on some of the roses I got for V-day while we were gone one day, lol. But he's doing really well, thanks for asking!
Well we don't have any other plants in the house which is why I didn't think about it, lol. (I do NOT have a green thumb at all, even for common houseplants.) But I'll remember that for future flowers I may receive from hubby :-D
Here's my life in a nutshell - I was raised in the Church of Christ, met a French Catholic guy online in my teens, tried to convert him to the Church of Christ, and-SURPRISE!-ended up converting myself to Catholicism. We ran off to France and got married, came back to the states, I got a degree in English, he got a degree in Computer Science, he got a job, and I am now happily living life as a Catholic housewife.

LOL. Try buying some bitter apple to spray onto plants...it won't hurt him, but will discourage him from snacking there. ;-)
