There is earlier Church teaching you know.Have you or your readers read the great encyclical of Pius XI Casti Connubii, Leo XIII Arcanum Divinae Sapientiae, which offer clear doctrine on marriage and pro-creation.
Why are you promoting the cult of NFP and this "theology of the body" which has never been actually translated properly.
Well hello anonymous person...I'm not sure what your deal is, but I'm fairly familiar with Church teaching, old and "new" on such matters, thanks. This is a pretty old post and it was just to give kudos to NFP recognition (which, Church matters aside, I think should be promoted for the health of the general public rather than popping pills as much as we do). So, you might want to pick fights elsewhere, thanks. ;-)
Here's my life in a nutshell - I was raised in the Church of Christ, met a French Catholic guy online in my teens, tried to convert him to the Church of Christ, and-SURPRISE!-ended up converting myself to Catholicism. We ran off to France and got married, came back to the states, I got a degree in English, he got a degree in Computer Science, he got a job, and I am now happily living life as a Catholic housewife.
