Poor guys didn't know what they were getting themselves into...

I'd bet my house that this guy is Church of Christ!

It's always kind of sad to watch the bewilderment on a zealous Catholic's face when they're told, "Sorry, we can't celebrate our common love for Christ with each other because Catholics are wrong." Kinda makes you wonder what they think of that whole, "he that is not against us is for us" deal Jesus talked about.

I bet you're right -- you get to keep your house today! :o)

However, I don't think the fundamentalist handled himself too badly (other than the whole "guilt by association" crap cofCers are wont to do in their own zeal). The clip showed two people conversing about their differences and both coming away with a better sense of how the other person thought and felt, for better or worse -- not such a bad thing and certainly better than resorting to violence or hateful words.

Hehe, thanks...I agree, at least they were both respectful and ended things in a friendly manner. Watching that clip just brings back feelings of awkwardness for me (remembering the feeling I would get when invited to "denominational" get togethers), but also feelings of understanding with the Catholic guy, and his bewilderment at the idea that it would be wrong to get together with other Christians.

It's like watching my former and present worlds collide!! Lol

Sickening. This is just gross. Welcome to American Christian fundamentalism.

I blame the Baptists.

"We're in an intellectual battle"

"No, I'm in a biblical battle"

Well he got one thing right. Nothing intellectual about Biblical fundamentalism.
