Thought I'd put an update here on the blog to mention the fact that we recently made an offer on a house and it was accepted. :-) Closing should be at the beginning of October.
I am, of course, already mentally decorating the rooms, haha, and there are plenty of them. It's a 4 bedroom house, with 2 1/2 bathrooms, and 3 separate living areas. I'm going to be doing a lot of painting!

Wow! That is a huge house! I'm so used to dinky Boston houses!
It's Texas sized, for sure. :-) I'm always astounded when watching House Hunters and the like at the huge prices for such tiny spaces in other parts of the country! We're very spoiled here, lol.
Have you closed? Now can you blog more?
We just closed this past Thursday, so now I'm busy painting all day and soon I'll be packing everything up, it will probably be a bit before things settle down enough that I can get back to blogging!
We hope to be buying our first home sometime next year. The homes up here in the Midwest are super-sized as well...
